Street-View-Fashion: Jerusalem, Havatzelet St
by thestreetswalker | 28.08.12During my absence, what I was waiting for a long time had finally happened: Google launched Street-View in Israel (or, to be more exact, in the three big cities: Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa). For long hours I have been seating in front of my computer, looking through Street-View for places I can see outside my window. I found out things I can not see with my own eyes, and other things – which I see – but can’t take their picture. The most prominent of those is Mea Shearim neighborhood in Jerusalem, which is actually located two minuted walk from my home.
Finally, I can document the fashion sense of the ultra-orthodox Jews who live there, and observe their favorite styles according to the strict rules of the religion.
